National Accounts Manager
Position Summary
The primary roles of the National Accounts Manager are to initiate relationships in the intermediary channel and to develop and expand these relationships through coordination of sales and marketing activities with the home office personnel of the broker dealer.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create business development plans for assigned sub channels — wirehouses, independent and regional broker dealers. The development plans will consider:
- Prospective prioritization
- Strategies to contact gatekeepers, wrap -program managers, and research analysts
- Work with client home offices to increase ProFunds product visibility through avenues such as:
- Participating in national and regional conferences
- Conducting 'Webinars'
- Identifying and calling on high-end producers
- Coordinate efforts with ProFunds national accounts and wholesaling teams.
- Provide client services
- Act as liaison between all internal support functions and B/D accounts — operations, transfer agencies, custodians, etc.
Education and Experience
- BA/BS degree.
- Appropriate FINRA licenses required.
- Demonstrated record of successful business development in the broker dealer channel.
- Possess in-depth understanding of the industry, financial concepts, products, investment management, and client-service strategies.
- Be able to prioritize projects and requests effectively.
- Understand the needs of partners in order to identify "critical" services they must have, competitive services they expect to have, and additional services they would like to have.
- Possess breadth of product knowledge in order to act as ProFund Advisors main point of contact in dealing with the client and the prospect.
