Head of Product Management
Position Summary
Develops and manages organization's product management initiatives in order to drive the growth of the business. Ensures the effective implementation and integration of product related programs within the overall ProFund Group business initiatives. Provides relationship management with assigned organizations for purposes of furthering growth of ProShares ETFs and ProFunds Mutual Funds.
Primary Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Management:
- Build the product management function and develop appropriate processes
- Develop business strategy for mutual fund line-up including recommendation on fund closings
- Build Alpha ProShares product business by developing plan for current products and ideas for new products.
- Enhance ETF line-up by analyzing share prices, spreads, benchmark indexes, expense ratios etc and recommending appropriate action
- Develop strategy for timing of distribution announcements
- Ensure that product data is accurately disseminated in the marketplace through data providers
- Other responsibilities include:
- Product expert and point person for sales and marketing questions
- Work with Marketing / Sales to develop and implement key messages to be delivered based on market conditions.
- Competitive tracking
- Product positioning
- Project management
- Participate as needed in research around each product usage
- Bring new product opportunities to strategy and participate in product development
- Assist in the solicitation of new business relationships for the ETF products
Education and Experience
BS/BA and fifteen or more years experience; product management, and significant industry experience working with index providers. Experience with exchange traded funds strongly desired.
