Design Director
Position Summary
Will oversee all design aspects of our company as well as the company's artistic vision. Will lead the design effort for each project from concept to implementation. The director manages a small team of freelancers and regular employees, and also provides creative direction to other departments. Responsible for producing high quality, well designed marketing materials, both print and digital. Must ensure brand identity is maintained and support other ProFund departments with respect to visualization efforts. Expected to lead in the design of new marketing materials consistent with brand. The Designer Director should have experience in the creative arts, ranging from print design to web design (including Flash).

- Formulate, develop and support both print and web design.
- Create and enforce consistent style guide.
- Produce and maintain company marketing materials including: brochures, logos, fact sheets, mailers, print advertising, event materials, posters, PowerPoint presentations, web design and multimedia presentations.
- Is responsible for the brand, its graphic development and its usage both internally and externally.
- Brainstorm and prepare design ideas to present to internal clients, along with detailed specs.
- Partner with the Web team to implement internet strategies for: pages, animations, logos, banners, and other graphical elements for the web.
- Work with others, such as project managers, writers, printers, photographers, other designers, etc., to complete the final product.
- Keep up-to-date on external design influences and be able to incorporate them into marketing materials.
- Oversee the work of external contractors/vendors including videographers, printers and graphic designers.
- Work with compliance to ensure various design pieces are within appropriate regulations to display and/or present externally and internally.

Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree (BFA in Communication Design preferred).
- 10 plus years experience of art/graphic design experience with at least five years in a senior or director level.
- 5 years of experience with developing detailed fact sheets, annual reports, prospectuses, forms (both print and web), and product sheets/guides highly desired.
- 3-5 years of securities or financial services industry background strongly preferred.
